I'm sorry, but Nancy needs a prequel. I mean, what sort of messy feelings was she digesting?? What if Jenn and Nancy meet in 2025? is she MAGA? Former vegan now a cattle farmer? Lolzz, thanks for sharing these deletions Jenn, how fun!😅❤️
Oh I loved this. The size of half a human cranium! Eating it like a bunny! I know that Nancy. And I totally get it. I guess I understand why it had to be cut from the book, but I'm so glad I am used to the podcast where these things get left in. The tangents are where the soul and the humor are.
While I totally see why this got cut, it's a fantastic (and hilarious) memory and incredibly entertaining to read. You could easily make this into a killer short story. And I love your larger message-- that neutral memories are the most trustworthy. Thanks for sharing your writing, Jenn!
I’ve seen some weird things in airports but this is fantastic. I’m thinking about the TSA person who saw it in her bag on the X-ray-did they take it out, pull her aside, ask questions??? I would have.
Bizarre memories like that pop up because they’re so entertaining! I still remember two tanned & fit sisters hugging goodbye before one got on the plane with me. She was carrying a metal train case/makeup kit. Throughout the flight, she would take out a moisturizer and constantly remoisturize her hands and flip flop clad feet, attracting the rapt attention of an older man. 😎

Imagine the gut microbia. The mind races...

Not trusting my memory: could also be a perimenopause memoir.
