I love that you are on Substack now bc I love you and Kim and EIF! Also, protein is good and so are weighted vests. I have one and I have been doing a challenge to walk with it every day in April. However mine has weight in the front and back, not just the back. I can find the link if necessary. Strong ladies FTW.
Years ago I bought a kids barn jacket that was a collaboration between Barbour and J.Crew and is lined in a fetching Liberty print. I think I paid $75. for it and it was worth every penny. Since that time I have often purchased clothes from the kids department. So more power to you in the kids department! (and I always buy my white jeans from TheGap––not as expensive so when I inevitably spill something on them I don't feel quite so bad)
Thanks for the fun post. Agreed on the extra protein-its so important as we get older and I feel like I have to be really intentional to ensure I get enough.
I read years ago that the makeup artist Bobbi Brown is also a big proponent of getting clothes from the boys department. I guess I just need to buy a few sizes to find which one fits best and go from there.
But the eye cream link, I am looking for one (thanks for reading my question on the pod a couple of weeks ago!) but the link is to the serum. Would you please check re-link it?
I haven’t found the answer to this question either but I did bookmark the column on my phone’s browser and every few days I remember to check for a new post.
For the too roomy shoes - buy an insole insert! They have thin padded ones that will make it fit better. I do this all the time and it can also make them more cushioned if you need that.
Nothing wrong with adults buying kids’ clothes if they fit! During the Barbie craze last summer when practically every brand had a collab with Mattel, I bought a girls’ Barbie shirt because women’s XS was sold out.
I just pre-ordered your book this morning- sorry it took me so long! Like you, have a shit ton of unread books so it may take me awhile to start yours when it comes, but lucky for me, it will be at the top of the pile. Ha! Seriously though, I can’t wait to read and also congratulations on the Harper’s Bazaar review!
So intrigued by the moisturizing stone... What do you store it in? I'd imagine it needs some kind of container so it doesn't leave a residue on a shelf, is that right?
Extra protein FTW. Apparently after 40 we need to be eating more like weight lifting enthusiasts just to combat muscle loss.

I need to hear about the weighted vest! Do you walk with it on? Run?

I will in a future post!

OMG CW I think this is the one I got!
Seriously, this is one of my prouder fashion moments.

Thank you!
Oh sorry! it’s RoC
Every time I see *ld *avy ads for Garfield, etc sweatshirts and then I click and see it's for children, it is a personal insult
The J Crew boys polo is amazing. I am getting both colors!
I know, this is a great rec....its giving me some serious Royal Tannenbaum vibes and I'm here for it.
So, even though we have totally different body types and life styles, how are the jeans?
Not great! They are going back sadly ðŸ«
Jenn, is there a way to subscribe to your Yahoo articles? Because otherwise I'm going to forget to look for them...

I don’t know if this is possible, but I will check!

It comes with a muslin like wrap which I’ve been using but she also sells a cute container I think!
