My husband (79 in 3 wks) and I (75 in 6 wks) are born to work and are just trying not to do it 12 -15 hours a day every day all year.

I love my job and have no problem working whenever I need to. It brings me immense amounts of joy. It is my work-life balance.

I used to think the only ambition I had was for work. Then I took a mini mid career sabbatical and found my ambition can also apply to my creative projects and hobbies. I think you’re right it’s about balancing it all! ❤️ Good luck on your pitch!

I, too, describe myself as a good little carriage horse whenever I complete my work, as Tina Fey does. First, I love that podcast. Thank god Amy Poehler brought it into the world. And second, I was so relieved when I heard Tina Fey describe work that way. It immediately clicked for me too. Can’t wait to read your book!
